TBJ Backdraft Table 48" - Self Contained with Airfiltronix filtration system

$3,970.00
Sold Out

This custom TBJ Incorporated backdraft table with integrated Airfiltronix air scavenging system comes with FRC-4 Formaldehyde filter, which makes this unit the perfect table to protect user during tissue fixing, tissue collection, and nectropsy.

Including necropsy and pathology workstations, TBJ backdraft tables are designed to provide a ventilated work station for a wide variety of procedures including gross examination and sectioning of specimens, animal necropsies, surgeries, perfusions, dissections, and chemical handling. Our backdraft tables utilize a negative air source to pull air, odors, vapors, and aerosols back and away from the face of users. The efficient use of backdraft ventilation works to keep chemicals such as formalin, alcohol and xylene under control and below permissible OSHA exposure limits. This creates a significantly healthier and safer work environment.

Like all Airfiltronix systems, the Scavengers can accommodate a variety of filters: charcoal, four stage dacron, aluminum, and HEPA filters, to capture a broad range of chemical fumes, odors and particles - at their source.

Backdraft Grossing Stations:

TBJ backdraft ventilated workstations are multi-use, ventilated units for gross examination and sectioning of specimens, animal necropsies, surgeries, perfusions, dissections, and chemical handling. The tables use a negative air source to pull air, odors, vapors and aerosols back away from the faces of users. The backdraft design helps keep chemicals such as formalin, alcohol and xylene under control and below permissible OSHA exposure limits, making for a healthier, safer work environment. The TBJ Model 30-48 BD-SC backdraft workstation is a compact, self-contained unit that includes an integral blower and filter module to eliminate the need to connect to a remote exhaust source. The filter media can be customized to control and treat fumes from chemicals such as formalin, anesthesia gases and many other chemicals and gases. The filter module can also be equipped with a HEPA filter.
